Student Grievance Redressal Committee

With reference to the Gazette of India No. CG-DL-E-11042023-dated-11/04/2023 the Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) is an institutional body constituted to uphold student rights and ensure that a fair and transparent mechanism exists for addressing grievances. This initiative is in line with the directives issued by regulatory authorities such as the University Grants Commission (UGC), with the objective of safeguarding the academic and personal interests of students.

The objectives of the Grievance Cell are the following:
  • To provide access to the stakeholders so that the remedial action related to grievances, can be ensured immediately.
  • To be fair and impartial in finding solutions for the issues faced by the grievant.
  • To ensure that complete confidentiality is maintained and the grievant is not victimized or harassed.
  • To monitor the smooth functioning of the college and oversee the protection of human rights and civil liberties.
The SGRC serves as a formal platform where students can lodge complaints regarding
  • Academic concerns(Evaluation,Attendance,Exam Results)
  • Instances of harrassment or unfair treatment
  • Cases of discrimination based on Gender,Caste,Religionj etc.
  • Any other Grievances affecting student well-being.

Grievances can be submitted in writing to the Convener. The cell adheres to principles of confidentiality, impartiality, and fairness, resolving concerns within the prescribed timeline. This initiative reflects the college's commitment to maintaining transparency and harmony.
