In accordance with the recent directive and in alignment with the UGC (Promotion of Equity in Higher Education Institutions) Regulations, 2012 (including any subsequent amendments), the Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) is hereby constituted at Government Degree College Salooni. The EOC aims to promote equity and ensure inclusiveness within the college community.

Objectives & Functions:

The EOC will operate in strict adherence to the procedures outlined in the aforementioned regulations and will perform the following key functions:

• To oversee the implementation of policies and programs for the welfare of disadvantaged groups within Government Degree College Salooni.
• To offer guidance and counseling on academic, financial, social, and other pertinent matters to students from marginalized communities.
• To serve as a platform for receiving and addressing grievances from socially disadvantaged students.

The cell actively works to create an equitable educational space, empowering students to thrive in a diverse and supportive learning atmosphere.
