Placement Cell & Its Activities
The Career Guidance, Counselling and Placement Cell at Government Degree College, Salooni plays a vital role in supporting students as they plan their future careers. It offers career-related information, organizes awareness sessions, and provides personalized counselling to help students to understand their strengths and career interests. The cell also collaborates with professionals and organizations to arrange skill development programs, job fairs, and internship opportunities. From 2024-25 session onwards, the cell has initiated campus outreach programme and adopted nine peripheral Senior Secondary Schools and delivered special sessions. With a special focus on students from rural backgrounds, the cell aims to build confidence and enhance employability. Overall, it serves as a bridge between academic education and career goals, guiding students toward meaningful employment.
